Bladimir Orduño
Citizenship Coordinator & Educator

Bladimir Orduno is the Citizenship Coordinator and Educator under the New Americans Initiative. He aims to empower immigrant communities by providing information and resources by which, if they so choose, individuals who qualify may pursue a path toward U.S. citizenship. Bladimir is a recent graduate from Pomona College where he majored in Spanish. There, he was involved in the IDEAS mentorship program for incoming undocumented students and has also done an internship at the Illinois Coalition for Immigrants and Refugee Rights. Bladimir found his voice as an ensemble member at the Albany Park Theatre Project while working on the play titled Home/Land. The play deals with the struggles of immigrants trying to find a better life in the United States.
