Community Outreach Coordinator
Tess Brion started at AFIRE as a volunteer in 2011, under the New American Initiative (NAI) citizenship program. Afterwards, Tess was hired on as a senior program assistant at AFIRE, funded by the Chinese American Service League (CASL). Currently, Tess is the community outreach coordinator of AFIRE. Previously, Tess was a registered nurse in the Philippines, with 15 years clinical experience in Saudi Arabia. She worked for three years as medical record technician in Open Arms Home Health Care in Skokie. Tess is also a member with the Fil-Am Grandparents Association of Chicago. In her free time, Tess enjoys crocheting, and cooking.
