Seeding AFIRE: Domestic Work in the Diaspora

Join us for a chance to learn more about what “domestic work” is, its history, and why we continue to advocate for full implementation of the IL Bill of Rights for Domestic Workers. Are you or someone you know a nanny, caregiver (children/adults/seniors), house cleaner, or home driver? This is a great opportunity to connect with us, learn about our advocacy, and connect with others who may share your experiences. Bring a friend or two! We will provide lunch and host a community film screening of a story that bridges the Filipinx/a/o diasporic experience with the intimate life and struggles of being an overseas domestic worker. Register here to receive additional details.
